David Tronnes is accused of beating and strangling his wife, Shanti Cooper-Tronnes, to death inside their ritzy Orlando home back in April 2018. Detectives say they believed he had something to hide since the second they started interviewing him at the crime scene. “Your story is bullsh*it, it’s complete hogwash,” one of the detectives can be heard saying during a police interrogation. Tronnes heads to trial this week after being charged with first-degree murder.
