Amie Harwick’s friend who attended an adult industry event with her testified that her ex-boyfriend, Gareth Pursehouse, confronted and berated her at the “Xbiz Awards” show in January 2020. Dr. Hernando Chaves said he witnessed Pursehouse flailing his arms while shouting at Harwick, “you ruined my life, you b*tch.” Harwick and Chaves left the event and discussed a “safety plan” to defend herself from Pursehouse, including having her home locks reinforced, along with purchasing pepper spray and a Taser.
