YNW Melly’s attorney, Stuart Adelstien, grilled lead detective Mark Moretti about the potential flaws of their investigation into the deadly double murder the rapper stands accused of. Adelstein pointed out how Merretti overlooked the lies of Cortlen Henry, aka YNW Bortlen, when he interviewed him at the hospital. Adelstein also noted how Merretti took months, even years to follow up on certain aspects of the investigation, including interviewing a suspect two years after he claimed he targeted Melly and his friends in a social media post.
