YNW Melly’s Defense Attacks Mask-Wearing Witness After Family Photo on CashApp Surfaces

First thing Monday morning, YNW Melly’s defense team objected to one of the state’s witnesses wearing a mask yet again. Undercover detective Danny Polo wears masks during trials he testifies in to protect his and his family’s identity. The defense continues to argue that the mask is a distraction and unnecessary in court, this time citing photos of Detective Polo and his family already floating around on the internet. Photos were spotted on Detective Polo’s wife’s CashApp account.
