On Tuesday, a woman found herself in a precarious situation in northern Michigan as she attempted to recover her Apple Watch. According to a statement by the state police on Wednesday, the incident occurred at the Department of Natural Resources boat launch located at Dixon Lake in Otsego County’s Bagley Township.
The woman, desperate to retrieve her lost watch, resorted to lowering herself into an outhouse toilet. Her cries were heard by bystanders, prompting the summoning of first responders. They extracted her from the toilet by removing it and utilizing a strap to hoist her to safety.
“If you lose an item in an outhouse toilet, do not attempt to venture inside the containment area. Serious injury may occur,” state police said.
