Woman Raped Her Autistic Brother-In-Law, Birthed His Baby, & Lied About Being The Victim

Authorities in Florida say that a woman has been charged after being accused of raping her autistic brother-in-law for 10 years. She even gave birth to his child.

On Dec. 7, US Marshals apprehended Amanda Rose Brooks in Orlando. She has been charged with sexual battery and lying to police by saying that she had been a victim of rape.

In June 2022, 36-year-old Brooks called the Sheriff’s Office, saying that she had been continuously raped by her husband and his brother.

She also provided detectives with screenshots of messages with her friends that seem to show that she was being abused by her husband and harassed by his relatives. She had stated that they had harassed her because she had taken her children and left.

Brooks had disclosed to authorities that she and her husband had been her brother-in-law’s caretaker.

On the other hand, a month following that, the victim’s mother called authorities and said that Brooks had been sexually assaulting her autistic son over a course of 10 years.

The victim had told his mother that Brooks had come into his room on several occasions. He had refused her advances, but she just told him to be quiet, keep it a secret, and everything was fine because “it made her feel good.”

Authorities in Florida retrieved DNA samples from Brooks’ baby who was born in January and her other children. It was then shown that the victim was the father of the youngest child.

Brooks’ husband reported that during the last occurrence, Brooks had been utilizing an ovulation tracker.

She has now been charged with sexual battery, making a false report about a crime, and giving false information about a felony.

Brooks remains in jail on a $150,000 bond.
