On Sunday night, in Forney, Texas, a woman was discovered shot and killed in a garage. Police say that someone else related to the occurrence was later discovered dead in Arlington.
The first shooting was called in at about 10:30 p.m. in the 100 block of Mandarin Street. When officers arrived on scene, they located the woman with gunshot injuries in a garage. The woman was declared deceased at the scene.
Authorities also say that they uncovered evidence that showed that the suspect had left the area only after sustaining wounds, as well.
After Forney informed other agencies about the shooting, Arlington Police told Forney about someone who was discovered shot and killed in their area.
At about 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, officers arrived at an ER on Cooper St., in Arlington, after learning that the victim was found unconscious in a parking lot.
A 17-year-old was discovered with a gunshot injury and was declared deceased at the location.
After the agencies compared findings, they found that they were searching for a suspect who could have been shot in the incident, too. Although they have determined that the scenes are related, police haven’t released any more details.
The shootings seem to be isolated, and the Texas Rangers have now taken over the investigation.
