U.S. Solider Tried Hiring Hitman to Murder His Mother’s Killer: Cops

Twenty-two-year-old National Guardsman, Rhett Barlow, is accused of orchestrating an ill-fated murder-for-hire plot to kill the man responsible for his mother’s death. Barlow’s mother was killed in a car crash in 2016 when Donald Caulder Jr. crashed into her minivan. In November, Barlow allegedly sought out a hitman to kill Caulder and purchased an AR-15, among other weapons.
