Texas Woman, 2 Children Found Dead In Murder-Suicide, Cops Say

TEXAS – In Central Lubbock on Monday morning, a woman and two children were discovered dead in an apparent murder-suicide, the Lubbock Police Department says.

Lubbock Police say they received a call at 10:37 a.m. regarding a deceased individual at the 2700 block of 46th Street.

The police department’s press release stated, “Upon arrival, officers located the lifeless bodies of LaCandria Ibrahim, 37, a nine-year-old boy, and a seven-year-old girl.”

According to LPD, the property management attempted to access the residence and upon discovering Ibrahim’s body, they called 911. Responding officers found the deceased children.

The Lubbock Police Department emphasized that there is no ongoing threat to the public.
