The chief medical officer who performed the autopsy on Tammy Daybell after her body was exhumed confirmed she had bruises that most likely formed at the time of her murder. During Dr. Erik Christensen’s testimony in court Monday, he testified that the bruising was consistent with restraint, which is common with her cause of death: asphyxia. The medical officer also said a “dry foam” was found in her airways. Lori Vallow Daybell is currently on trial for Tammy’s murder, along with the murders of two of her children, Tylee Ryan and J.J. Vallow.
