Bodycam footage allegedly shows a 21-year-old man charging at Illinois cops while duel-wielding large kitchen knives on February 5. The Aurora Police Department said Kristopher Cross’ mother called 911 during a verbal argument out of fear it might get physical before her son began arming himself. Officers shot Cross when he allegedly charged at them, knives in both hands, after they attempted to de-escalate the situation. Cross, who was taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment, was arrested and charged with two counts of attempted murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The Law&Crime Network’s Sierra Gillespie has the details.
