Tulsa, Oklahoma (TPD) — On December 31, 2022, Muskogee Creek Nation Lighthorse Police and Tulsa Police Officers were involved in a pursuit with Cody Foos.
Prior to this pursuit, Foos had exhibited several instances of dangerous behavior. Some of those behaviors include pulling a shotgun out in traffic, amongst several other things. Foos shot at Officers three times from his car. Police were able to successfully deflate the tires on Foos’s car, and when he finally stopped in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Foos emerged wielding a short-barreled shotgun and a semi-automatic pistol. As a continuing threat, Officers fired upon Foos, striking him. Foos died at the scene.
The officers involved were put on administrative leave, but the DA cleared them and did not file charges.
