Osceola County, FL (OCSO / News Release) – On August 9, 2023, Osceola County Sheriff’s Office members responded to an attempted sex battery of two minors at the Westgate Vacation Villas located at 7700 Westgate Blvd, Kissimmee. Upon arrival, deputies were advised by one of the parents of the minors that a 24-year-old male, later identified as Ryan Doak, 24, had been communicating over social media with the victims.
After exchanging messages with the minors, Mr. Doak traveled from Davenport, Florida, to have sex with the two minors. According to the exchanged messages, Mr. Doak had full knowledge of the two minors, ages (13 and 14). Still, he sent them lewd and lascivious messages referencing his intentions to batter them sexually.
Once Deputies arrived on the scene, they located Mr. Doak in the building where the victims were staying and found his vehicle outside the walls of the Westgate Villas resort. Mr. Doak had jumped the surrounding privacy wall of the resort to gain entry into the property.
Detectives with the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office Special Victims Unit responded to the scene. They obtained an arrest warrant for Mr. Doak for Traveling to meet a Minor for Sex, Solicitation of a minor, Unlawful use of a Two-Way Communication Device, and Transmission of Harmful Materials.
A search warrant was obtained for Ryan Doak’s vehicle, where two firearms were located. Ryan Doak was booked into the Osceola County Jail, and further investigation is still ongoing.
