Ruby Franke’s business associate, Pam Bodtchr, was interrogated by American Fork, Utah officers on August 30 after two of Franke’s children were allegedly found malnourished and locked in a safe. “A safe!?” Bodtcher exclaimed when an officer told her about what had happened earlier that day — four hours south — in Ivans, Utah. Two of Franke’s children were found bound in duct tape at Jodi Hildebrant’s home, who is another one of Franke’s business partner. Two of Franke’s other children were found inside Bodtcher’s home the day of Franke’s arrest. Botcher told investigators Franke had called her stating she had a family emergency, so Bodtcher picked the other two children up, brought them back to her home, and claimed the children helped clean up the house, ate lunch, then got ice cream while Franke dealt with her emergency.
