A McKinney man is behind bars after police discovered his pregnant girlfriend deceased at their residence.
McKinney Police responded to a welfare check for a pregnant woman, Nawreen Tuli, at the apartments in the 5200 block of Collin McKinney Parkway on December 25, 2023. When officers arrived at the residence, they were greeted at the door by 33-year-old Nasib Ahsan.
Ahsan, Tuli’s boyfriend whom she has a protective order against, stated that Tuli was inside sleeping when questioned by police.
During a sweep of the residence, officers discovered the body of Tuli lying on the bed. She was pronounced deceased at the scene. Her unborn baby was also deceased.
Ahsan was previously arrested on November 28, 2023 for abuse of a pregnant person. The following day, Tuli had an emergency protective order signed with the courts.
He is charged with capital murder. According to the Collin County Inmate List, Ahsan was also charged with Murder of a Person Under 10 Years of Age.
