Convicted family killer Alex Murdaugh appeared in a South Carolina courtroom Tuesday to receive his sentence after pleading guilty to numerous financial crimes. Attorneys who represented many of Murdaugh’s victims slammed the disgraced lawyer for stealing millions from clients who trusted him. “He was a thief and he stole and he lied,” Eric Bland said to Murdaugh as the victims stood behind him.
