New court documents from the Roman Polanski sex case reveal that a judge reneged on his promise to Polanski. The judge stated Polanski could face up to 50 years in prison prior to his sentencing trial. Polanski claims this contradiction is the reason he fled the U.S. in 1978 and hasn’t returned since.
