Lori Vallow Daybell’s ex-husband Charles Vallow was shot and killed by the “doomsday cult” mom’s brother, Alex Cox, in July 2019. Cox claimed the shooting was in self-defense after Vallow allegedly attacked him. Investigators later determined Vallow’s death was a homicide and charged Daybell with conspiracy to commit murder, alleging that she planned Vallow’s death with her brother.
