On Monday morning, the Baton Rouge Police Department confirmed that they had discovered the body of Nathan Millard, who had been reported missing.
According to the BRPD’s Facebook post, Millard’s body was found at 3:34am in the 2900 block of Scenic Hwy. — the cause of de ath remains unknown until the results of the autopsy results are available.
Nathan Millard was a 42-year-old construction director from Georgia, who was married with five children.
He was last seen at Happy’s Irish Pub after attending a Louisiana State University basketball game with a client on February 23. He left the bar around 11:30pm to go back to his hotel room at the Courtyard Marriott in downtown Baton Rouge, but he never made it back.
Happy’s Irish Pub is a two-minute walk from the hotel where Millard was staying, while the location where his body was found is a seven-minute drive from the pub.
The investigation is still ongoing, and the BRPD has not released any further information regarding Millard’s disappearance and death.
Texas EquuSearch revealed that someone reported a foul odor near Scenic Highway on Monday morning, leading law enforcement to discover Millard’s body wrapped in a carpet in a vacant lot.
