During his testimony Tuesday, investigator Nicholas Edwards discussed Chad Daybell’s digital footprint leading up to the attempted shooting of his wife, Tammy Daybell. The day Tammy was shot at, Chad had called and texted with Alex Cox — Lori Vallow Daybell’s brother — nearly 90 times. Investigators believe Cox could have been the shooter. Chad and Lori are accused of killing two of Lori’s children, J.J. Vallow and Tylee Ryan, along with Chad’s late wife, Tammy.
