‘Doomsday Cult’ Mom Trial: Victim’s Grandparents Recall Lori Daybell, Kids Entering Their Lives

The grandparents of J.J. Vallow spoke to the Law&Crime Network about how “Doomsday cult” mom Lori Vallow Daybell and her kids entered their lives. Kay and Larry Woodcock recalled fond memories of 16-year-old Tylee Ryan and 7-year-old J.J. Vallow before their mother pulled them away from the family. The Woodcocks mentioned oddities in J.J.’s behavior leading up to the murders, stating he sounded uncomfortable and as if he was coached on their last phone call.
