Prosecutors in Letecia Stauch’s murder trial played a phone call between the stepmother and her former husband, Al Stauch, who directly asked her if she killed their 11-year-old son. Al Stauch recorded a series of phones between him and his former wife during the investigation when he began to suspect she knew more about his disappearance than she let on. Prosecutors allege Gannon Stauch was brutally murdered in his bedroom by his stepmother before she put his body in a suitcase and disposed of it in Florida, where it was found two months after he went missing.
