Dallas Police Investigating Shooting That Left Two People Dead

Dallas police are investigating a murder suicide that occurred over the weekend.

Around 10:45 a.m. officers responded to a welfare check call on the 10000 block of Steppington Drive.

Upon arrival they found the victim Brenda Cruz, 29 and the suspect Jesus Magana, 28 inside the residence with a gunshot wound.

Both the victim and suspect were pronounced dead at the scene by DFR.

During the investigation officers learned that Magna shot Cruz before turning the gun and shooting himself.
