A California man is facing a string of charges after allegedly threatening to burn his brother’s house down and charging at cops while armed with a screwdriver. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office said deputies shot 56-year-old Trinidad Velasco after repeated attempts to get him to drop the tool and surrender. Velasco was treated for his injuries and arrested on multiple charges, including assault with a deadly weapon. The Law&Crime Network’s Sierra Gillespie has the details.
