The New York City Medical Examiner’s Office has revealed the cause of death for Leandro De Niro Rodriguez, the grandson of acclaimed actor Robert De Niro.
The 19-year-old’s death in July was attributed to a lethal combination of substances including fentanyl, bromazolam, alprazolam, 7-aminoclonazepam, ketamine, and cocaine.
His passing has been officially classified as an accident. A woman identified as Sofia Marks was apprehended in connection to the teenager’s death. She faces charges for selling drugs to a minor.
Robert De Niro’s daughter, Actress Drena De Niro and Leandro’s mother, replied to someone on Instagram; “Someone sold him fentanyl laced pills that they knew were laced yet still sold them to him so for all these people still f**king around selling and buying this sh*t, my son is gone forever.”
