21-year-old Alex Mayorga, a United States Infantryman, rescued an incapacitated driver from a burning vehicle on December 2 in El Paso, Texas. Mayorga had previously called 911 to report the vehicle was driving erratically. Mayorga’s girlfriend, who witnessed the rescue firsthand, recorded it all on her cell phone.
