In January 2023, a Colorado Taco Bell was shut down for investigation due to the possibility of a worker putting rat poison in a customer’s food. The customer revealed that the workers at the fast food establishment had a dispute with the customer over the soda machine. Later that day, the customer was taken to the hospital and was informed that they suspected there was rat poisoning in their system. Bodycam footage shows police investigating the alleged poisoning incident. The workers were cleared of any wrong doing after security footage refuted the customer’s claims.
