Bodycam footage shows the aftermath of a deadly drunken crash that killed a 16-year-old in 2021. The Pharr Police Department said Jesus Cruz, who was 22 years old at the time, drunkenly slammed his car into a family’s apartment, killing a sleeping teen and injuring a 12-year-old. The video shows a heavily intoxicated Cruz struggling to perform sobriety tests and explain what happened. A Texas judge sentenced Cruz to 20 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to DWI with death and serious bodily injury.
