The Chicago Police Department released bodycam footage showing a suspect allegedly shooting an officer point-blank during a traffic stop. Officers attempted to pull over the suspect for a traffic violation, who when approached allegedly opened fire on an officer. The suspect was charged with attempted murder, aggravated battery and aggravated assault. The officer is expected to survive.
