GULFPORT, Miss. – Police have issued an arrest warrant for a man accused of attacking MSNBC correspondent Shaquille Brewster live on the air Monday during coverage of Hurricane Ida.
Benjamin Eugene Dagley of Wooster, Ohio, has been charged with two counts of simple assault, a count of disturbing the peace and a count of violation of emergency curfew.
In the footage below, Dagley confronts Brewster shouting, “Cover this accurately!”
Dagley is believed to be driving a white 2016 Ford F150 with license plate number PJR1745.
