Twenty-year-old Mamta Bhatt seemingly vanished from her Manassas Park home at the end of July. Her husband, Naresh Bhatt, waited days to report her missing and said it wasn’t uncommon for Mamta not to come home. The community rallied to search for Mamta as investigators turned their attention to Naresh, whose friends accused him of being an abusive husband. Prosecutors allege Naresh killed Mamta and dragged her body out of their home to hide it. Naresh now faces a charge of concealing a dead body.
