Just before midnight, on Aug. 21st, Tennessee Titans cornerback Caleb Farley’s $3 million home exploded, in Mooresville, North Carolina. It resulted in the death of his father, Robert Farley.
The 61-year-old had been staying at the residence when his remains had been discovered in the debris.
Caleb Farley wasn’t affected by the explosion, but it isn’t known if he was home at the time of the incident. He was said to been seen looking at the site and speaking with authorities afterwards.
Another victim was taken to a medical facility with non-life threatening wounds. He has not been publicly named.
Neighbors reported that it smelled of gas, and they heard a loud thud right before 12 a.m.
As of now, the cause of the explosion is being investigated, but it is reported that there hasn’t been any evidence of foul play.
