A substitute teacher has been taken out of the classroom at an elementary school because of controversial tweets. Those tweets egged on bullying, made statements about parents, and the teacher referred to herself as “hood.”

Bianca Robinson, the substitute teacher, was removed from the classroom at District Heights Elementary School, in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. This came after angry parents had read the tweets that she sent out.

Last Thursday, one of the first concerning tweets went out under the account “@Mostly _hated.” It seemed to have criticized Black mothers and told them to make changes in how their raising their sons.

“Black women raising boys, Please stop letting ur sons pick up ur female traits!” the tweet read. “I have the b** chest boys in my class!! I know y’all have some men around somewhere! This s** is getting ridiculous,” she added.

She later sent a tweet about bullying. “Kids need to get bullied. Bullying doesn’t just stop with childhood. How will they be ready for an adult bully! The no bullying thing is dumb,” Robinson wrote.

Then, a tweet dating back to August 31, 2022, read, “Third day of school, and I made another kid cry,” it noted. “These 5th graders never had a teacher from the hood, I see. I won’t be spoken to any kind of way. I will gather a child quickly and respectfully and still bring them to tears.”

Some people agree with Robinson’s sentiments while others have stated their opposition. “I wouldn’t let her teach my kids, not with that type of behavior,” one person wrote, responding to the tweets.

Once details got out about the tweets, the user with the page made the account private.
