On Wednesday, it was announced that a substitute teacher in Juniata and Perry counties, in Pennsylvania, is facing charges of possession and dissemination of child pornography.

This last school year, Peyton Harris, 20, was a substitute teacher at Newport High School and Juniata High School. He was also an assistant manager for Juniata’s track team.

Pennsylvania’s Attorney General Josh Shapiro said that Harris held a party at his residence. He then bought alcohol for minors by using a fake i.d.

As the party went on, Harris is said to have snapped pictures and took recordings of minors engaging in sexual behaviors without them knowing or approving. Officials say that he posted some of the images on Snapchat.

Harris is also accused of taking pictures of a student “measuring his own penis with a ruler.”

“Mr. Harris was trusted to take care of and empower minors, and instead, he exploited them. These charges are very disturbing. My office has a zero tolerance policy for abuse of children. We will prosecute the defendant to the fullest extent of the law,” Shapiro said.

Harris is also charged with invasion of privacy, corruption of minors, furnishing alcohol to a minor, and carrying a false identification card.
