A shooting in the Forney, Texas, area is being investigated by the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office. It resulted in a man and a woman being wounded.
On Sunday, July 24, around 6:24 p.m., the sheriff’s office answered to a call regarding a shooting in the 9000 block of Lone Cypress Drive in the Windmill Farms community, west of Forney.
Officers then discovered the two victims on the ground, suffering from gunshot wounds, near a vehicle.
They were both transported to a medical facility, close to Dallas, and were listed in stable condition.
Investigators have learned of two unidentified suspects involved in the shooting.
The incident has been labeled as isolated, and an investigation is continuing.
