A coach was fatally shot in Lancaster during a kid’s youth football game.
Officers responded to a shooting call between Wintergreen and Jefferson St at a field behind the Rec center.
When they arrived they found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Apparently there was some sort of disagreement on the field that turned physical. Moments later shots were fired. No suspect(s) has been arrested at this time.
