71-year-old Norine Brown, of Summerton, South Carolina, is said to have shot her lover after he confessed to cheating on her.
71-year-old Henry Everett Allen was discovered dead at a residence on September 11, 2023, as he had suffered a gunshot injury to the head.
While investigating, it was found that Brown and Allen had been in a relationship; however, only Brown resided at the home.
Authorities learned that the pair had gotten into a disagreement after Allen had admitted that he cheated on her. At some point during the argument, Brown fatally shot Allen.
On September 15, Brown was apprehended and taken to the Clarendon County Detention Center. She was charged with voluntary manslaughter and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
