14 Year Old Shot Near S.O. C. High School
Dallas police are investigating after a 14 year old was found shot at an Oakcliff park Wednesday morning.
Officers responded to a shooting call at Renaissance Park located on the 300 block of E. Overton Road a little before 9:30 a.m.
Upon their arrival they found a 14 year old suffering from a gunshot wound. They were transported to an area hospital where they died from their injuries.
Due to the proximity of the school from the shooting South Oakcliff High School was placed on lockdown.
The victim is said to be in stable condition.
Authorities are still investigating but have no suspects in custody at this time.
